The Day Life Hit Me

(Photo Location: Port Washington, WI)
(Photo Credit goes to: A friend of mine)
..........And Bammmm, that's the day it hit me....
The day that now stands for it all
The day I realized it was the beginning to the end
The day I had to decided what I was doing in life
The day when time slowed way down
The day that I was free
The day I was the happiest
The day my world was at peace
The day I gained a loyal friend, a better friend then I ever thought would be
The day....... I will never forget..... The friend I will always remember...... and the time that came with a sign.......A sign for a hug and goodbye. (Cody Stugelmayer 6.6.13 15:18)

Good luck my Friend, good luck. We have said our hellos, are goodbyes, I have gotten off the things I needed from Facebook and I'm glad we even got the chance to look back for a laugh and reminisce but sometime people just grow a part, and I know that. In time enough you will block me on Facebook and become a nameless man, as you need the power to grow, the power to control, The power to become your own self. From the bottom of my heart I will keep happy thoughts and wish you the best. For Peace of mind I will always keep your name unknown to those who never knew. If you ever would like to talk again you know what to do or where to find me. Goodbye my Friend, Goodbye

No return in sight

You know Its funny I once met a man
a man with no story
a man with no soul
a man with no goal
a man with no ambition
an unknown man

You know its funny he was a curious man
a man who wanted a mission
a man who wanted a plan
a man who wanted to find my story
a man who had a job contract in hand
but still an unknown man

You know its funny i once fell for this man
a man who wanted to try a man
a man who wanted to live
a man who wanted to be happy
a man who wanted to be unknown

You know its funny I once followed this man
a man with freedom
a man with wheels
a man with spirit
but still an unknown man

You know its funny I once learned this man's story
a man who needed to be a new man
a man with a story
a man with commitments
a man with a different goal
a new unknown man

You know its funny I drove away from this man
a drive of distance
a drive to divide
a drive to live
a drive to find myself
a drive to an unknown destination

You know its funny I made peace with a man
a man who turned into a friend
a friend who had a story
a story with faces
a friend who knew me
a friend with new memories

You know its funny I once had a great friend
a friend who was nice
a friend who I helped
a friend who was a new man
a friend who had a different plan

You know its funny I once cried about a friend
a friend with a girlfriend
a friend with a family
a friend with a job
a friend with a need for stability
a friend who was once an unknown man

You know whats not funny, I once needed to stop talking to this man............
walk away from a man
walk away from a friend
walk away from a story
walk away from a time
walk away and remain unknown to those who never knew.

I once walked away in my own direction
a direction with hope
a direction with no one
a direction with freedom
a direction into the unknown............

Same Company Diffrent Day

Yesterday (04/28/13) I went down to work for the same catering company as last week, washing dishes at their bigger location. Rub a dub dub

Only new thing that happened is that the garbage disposal broke down on Friday (word on the street that is) and so we had to tap all plates and incoming dishes into a trim bin (trash that gets hauled to a local farm for feed) before sending them through the dishwasher. Added frustration for sure but we still got done on time. :-)

Peace! - Nomad out

P.S. Time for today's work, I Got to go weed wack a little grassy area and lay mulch down at a local church for LR, I'm happy it's really nice outside today :-D

You want me to go in where? 0_0

Today i went over to the Kraft Foods plant in Springfield, MO and worked with LCS Kleen Aire a chimney sweep and air duct cleaning company (highly recommended). Now i have worked for them many jobs before over the past couple months but today's "ticket" (as in slang for a Labor Ready Job ticket) entailed cleaning two duct systems, laying plastic over machinery and squeegeeing some floors.

The crew was fairly large so we each took on a set list of things to get done. That being said I layed and duct taped plastic or cleaned up water messes and work areas for a better part of the day.

A month ago on a trip to IL with LCS they had me crawling in the confined spaces but this go around it was the other guys turn. :-) The job before that one we were simply wipeing ceiling work down and cleaning all the oil off gridwork at the Positronic plant. A lot of ladder work there for sure. (Attached picture is of the get up i wore for that job, and one of the look down from a 14 foot ladder)

Overall a long day in deed but enjoyable as always, it is one company i love getting hired out for the day and look forward to it most the time. And can't wait till next time. :-D

Attached photo: Stock before/after picture of a duct, taken off the interwebs but still gives you a good idea what we put our selves into and the work that needs to be done.

Peace!! B-) -Nomad out

P.S. Believe it or not i use to be terrified of small spaces but with this job that is exactly where i have to go, but hey i get paid to do it so,..... it is different mentally?..... :s I guess. Lolz Anyways what's your biggest fear?

$33 a day

No this isn't a cooking segment nor do i have that much dough to shell out on food everyday. Lol :-$

What I can tell you though, is i work and live on minimum wage as a proud employee/laborer for Labor Ready (LR). (a nation wide day labor temp agency). Although this varies from state to state the current MO going rate is $7.35 an hour. Now because I'm law abiding when it come to working for LR I pay the crazy thing called taxes! o_O

After taking out taxes dividing it up by 30 days in the month, if I'm lucky and put in 30-40hrs a week I have only $30-35 a day to spend on everything. (gas, food, housing, cell phone, fun stuffs, exedra)

Working for a temp agency is hit or miss but my past seven months working 35 hours a week for LR have been positive. No i don't get paid well and 9/10 jobs all pay us the same rate, but i do get paid everyday on a pay card and can take off any day i want to with no questions asked. Those two points in my opinion are well worth it. :-)

So it is safe to assume if i post about a job it is through Labor Ready. Now some of the places or people i work for I cant take pictures nor talk about but i will try my best and fill you in on the jobs i can indeed talk about. :-)

For relativity reasons currently I work out of the Springfield, MO branch but I started at one of the Denver, CO locations.

Peace!!! O:-) -Nomad out

P.S. What is your thoughts on minimum wage overall? Is it reasonable?

Attached picture: A job that lasted a week, (Denver, CO sometime in November) all i did was pick up trash along side of streets and in the Denver waste management yard. Boring job but someone had to do it. At least it was really really nice weather the whole time.

Rub a dub dub

....thanks for the grub!!! That's right today (4-26-13) i went over to one of the smaller MSU dinning halls and hand washed dishes for 4 hours. Aside from the whopping $27 i made after taxes I got a decent hot meal for free so I don't think i came out bad. I mean heck they were even serving apple pie today, can't pass that up! Hands down my favorite kind of pie!!!! =-O

I worked at this same place Monday of this week (4 hours) and Saturday (10hr day) and Sunday (4.25hr day) I worked for the same company but at a different and bigger MSU campus location.

All and all straightforward and enjoyable to get back in and wash a few dishes now and again.

Peace!!! - Nomad out

P.S. If you could have any flavor pie, what would it be? :-!

What if a blog was Reborn?

What if today was the tomorrow I was worried about yesterday?..... What if I up keep a blog, just for me?...... What if I don't care anymore?..... What if they get mad at me for posting that?...... What if I don't hide anymore?..... What if I become happier?........ What if they find out?...... What if I don't censor myself on my own site?....... What if someone finds out who I actually am?........ What if my name is attached to what I post online?...... What if someone finds out how much i make?..... What if, what if, what if i start a blog and say fuck it I'm doing and posting the shit that makes me happy!!!?

These questions have ever since flowed through my head over  the past years since I first posted here, but I have finally reached a point of realization (Not to mention a higher maturity level) while working for Labor Ready (a nation-wide temp agency) that it really doesn't matter. Most people don't care if your happy or sad. For the most part we only like to be surrounded by people who are successful and think the way we do. :)

Am I the most successful person? hell no; Am I as happy as I can be right now? no, neither is anyone else; Am I doing what I love? Yes; Do I like hustling for work and meeting peoples? More then ever; Do I look forward to the unknown or next thing? Fuck yeah I do, got a problem with it..... Cool story bro contact the complaints department below ;) Am I mostly depressed or negative? Nope, %90 of the time I'm optimistic and happy as a clam; Am I one to worry? I can and use to be, but now that I have seen what hiding can do to a person, I have to stand up and be who I love to Be :DDD

In other words I politely say GTFO if you don't like what or How I post, GTFO if all you want to do is complain about what I post and GTFO if you're having fun while reading my blog :P ...... Wait Forgot the for warning, I have a sarcastic sense of humor, and didn't mean that last point. I hope you catch on after time.

This blog is about the raw unedited or non-prefabricated me (That I sometimes have to lean on and use with people) and for me! *Chubby smiley face* I'm hoping to start off by posting what jobs I do everyday and during my off hours what is on my mind.

My six set out goals with this blog are to:
1) Inspire others to travel
2) Keep family and friends in the loop :O
3) Share and log the companies and places I work at along with the jobs I perform
4) Post when I feel like it, and not be set on a timeline
5) Post on the go with my smart phone (Samsung Galaxy Sll)
6) Motivate myself to do more fun awesome things!

By all means, grab your munchies, kick back, open something to drink and read on my friend! But yo, if dig the shit I post by all means Comment or let me know some way, every notification puts a smile to my face.

Peace dudes!! -Nomad out
